For those people looking for a Valentine’s gift
i’ve stumbled across these “romantic mittens for holding hands.”
yeah, they are exactly what they look like.
according to the website selling them, “if you are planning on taking an outdoor stroll with your sweetheart on valentine’s day or anytime this cold winter season, now you can walk hand-in-hand with these romantic new ‘smittens’ ($35).” [dpkennedy note: i imagine there were high-fives exchanged around the room after that gem of a name was thrown out there at their brainstorming meetings.]
so apparently, they are marketed towards couples who eskimo kiss in public and have pet names for each other that are similar to “honey bunch” or “cutie pa-tootie.” but they could very well also be used for conjoined twins on a budget who are trying to keep their collective extremities warm.
