this is something i found and thought i'd give it a shot with little to no expectations other than to provide another outlet on the web that allows me to spill my thoughts, reflections, demented humor, and personal wisdom. (or is it ignorance?)

though the u.s. only makes up 5% of the world’s population, we house nearly 25% of the world’s prison population.

it really makes you wonder how many of these convicts received long sentences for non-violent crimes or were actually innocent of the crime.
